Lavender

Historically, Bulgaria was home to some of the world’s premier essential oil research, development, and production. However, this faltered in the Post-Communist era due to the government’s financial support for wheat, sunflower, and corn. This is what inspired us to establish the Esseterre facility in Dobrich, Bulgaria, where we produce Lavender essential oil.

Ylang Ylang

In Nosy Be – the island of Madagascar where ylang ylang is sourced – reliable healthcare can be difficult to come by. Because of this, a mobile health clinic has been established to provide villages with first aid kits, essential oils and other resources, as well as training for the appropriate use of those resources.

What's Inside?

Cedarwood

Known for its rich hue and warm, woody scent, Cedarwood essential oil provides a myriad of benefits for skin. Cedarwood is regarded as one of the most grounding oils and helps to promote a calming environment at the end of a long day. It is native to cold climates, thriving in high altitudes and growing up to 30 m. When applied topically, Cedarwood has clarifying properties. Additionally, Cedarwood is frequently used in massage therapy to relax and soothe the mind and body.

Hawaiian Sandalwood

Sustainably sourced from the Big Island of Hawaii, Hawaiian Sandalwood has soothing properties and promotes a youthful-looking complexion. Sandalwood is very beneficial to the skin, making it highly sought after in body and skin care products. This rich, sweet-smelling essential oil has been used for thousands of years to instil calmness. Its grounding and uplifting properties make it a perfect oil to incorporate into massage.

Lavender

With its distinct aroma and countless applications, Lavender oil has become one of the most popular essential oils. Anciently, the Romans and Egyptians would use lavender for bathing. Since that time, many have discovered the myriad of other benefits it holds. Lavender is widely used in cosmetics and perfumes for its ability to promote healthy, clean skin. Its versatile benefits make Lavender an essential oil to have on-hand everywhere you go.

Marjoram

Marjoram was known to the Greeks and Romans as a symbol of happiness. Commonly recognised for its ability to spice foods, Majoram essential oil is a unique cooking additive. The herbaceous flavouring of Marjoram oil can be used in soups, stews, dressings, and sauces. In Germany, this herb is known as the “Goose Herb” for its traditional use when roasting geese.

Roman Chamomile

Roman Chamomile grows close to the ground, reaching only up to a foot in height. It has grey-green leaves, flowers that resemble a daisy, and smells like an apple. The plant has been nicknamed the “plant’s physician” because it has positive effects on plants growing nearby. Ancient Romans used the Roman Chamomile oil for courage during war. While the most common use for Chamomile is in tea, Roman Chamomile can also be found in face creams, hair dyes, shampoos, and perfumes.

Ylang Ylang

Ylang Ylang essential oil is derived from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical Ylang Ylang tree. This essential oil is used extensively in making perfumes and in aromatherapy, and has been used in religious and wedding ceremonies for centuries. Ylang Ylang is frequently used in luxurious hair and skin products for its rich, sweet aroma and also for its protective properties. Ylang Ylang is also known to promote calmness and lift mood.
